The Kansas African American Affairs Commission will meet on the first Friday of the month at 1:30 pm. Meetings will last approximately one hour. Monthly meetings will be held via Zoom and quarterly meetings will be in person in Topeka.

    2. Articles 1 and 2 will remain with no changes.
    3. The proposed change to Article 3: the mission statement in the bylaws is as follows:

      Article III: Section 3.1. The Kansas African American Affairs Commission serves as a conduit between the African American community and the Governor to advise the Governor on issues that include policy, legislation, or programs that impact the African American community in Kansas.
