Kansas Board of Regents November Meeting + Campus Visit Kansas State University

The Kansas Board of Regents will meet on Wednesday, November 20, in the Kansas State University Campus Student Union (918 N. MLK Jr. Drive, Manhattan, KS 66506). At 12:00 p.m., the Board will gather for lunch in the Konza Room. At 1:30 p.m., the Board will begin its meeting in the Ballroom in the Memorial Union. At 6:00 p.m., the Board will depart for dinner.

On Thursday, November 21, the Regents will meet for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. at the Staley School of Leadership to discuss K-State’s Next-Gen Strategic Plan, led by President Rich Linton and Strategy Officer Ian Jacobs. Following breakfast, the group will move to the College of Engineering for sessions focused on research innovation and key state initiatives.

At noon the Regents will have lunch with Athletics Director Gene Taylor at Club Space, Morgan Family Volleyball Arena followed by facilities update. The group will also take a bus tour to explore K-State’s campus infrastructure further. Following the bus tour, the Regents will attend presentations on K-State’s regional campuses, the KSU Foundation, and the Alumni Association, concluding with a dinner at 5:15 p.m. with President Linton and university leadership at Leadership Hall, KSU Foundation.

On Friday, November 22 the Regents will meet for a 7:30 a.m. breakfast at Kramer Dining Hall with student leaders, followed by a roundtable discussion with Faculty Senate and University Support Staff leadership. An update on K-State’s Health-Promoting University initiative, a roundtable discussion with University Distinguished Professors.  The visit concludes with a noon debrief lunch at President Linton’s residence.
